CLVX 1 for Mac is in the pre-order phase, the keyboards are currently in production. 

Once the production is complete, following final revisions, quality checks, and packaging, the keyboards will be shipped from the production facility to our US warehouse as part of our logistics process. After the keyboards arrive at our warehouse, they will be dispatched to our customers worldwide. 

Therefore, at this moment, based on the current production and logistics progress, we anticipate shipping to customers from our US warehouse in July 2025. However, further adjustments may occur depending on the production and shipping pipeline.

Both original CLVX 1 and CLVX 1 for Mac (once available) offer a similar level of firmware/software support for all the platforms (Windows, Mac, and others).  
 
The major differences are the key layout and the color. 
 
CLVX 1 is black and has a Windows layout, CLVX 1 for Mac is white and has a Mac layout. 
 
Important: both CLVX 1 and CLVX 1 for Mac require the Driver for Mac installed for the proper operation on MacOS. 

On Windows and Linux: you don’t need any special software to use CLVX 1. The keyboard works without special drivers, utilizing standard keyboard, touchpad, and mouse drivers.
 
On Mac: both CLVX 1 and CLVX 1 for Mac require the Driver for Mac installed for the proper operation on macOS. 
 
To unlock advanced features and customize the keyboard, you need to install the TouchOnKeys app (available for Windows only at the moment; Linux and Mac versions are coming). 
 
The TouchOnKeys app unleashes the full potential of CLVX 1 by allowing you to сreate custom profiles for your apps, program gestures, tune Touch Sliders, adjust backlight effects, and assign functional keys. For a full description of the TouchOnKeys app, please visit its section on the website. 

Both CLVX 1 and CLVX 1 for Mac support Windows 10 and 11 and macOS (with TouchOnKeys driver for Mac installed). We also offer limited support for Linux (based on Gnome with Wayland enabled) and Android/iOS/iPadOS/WebOS/Tizen. 

On Windows: CLVX 1 supports all gestures (one, two, three, and four-finger gestures, taps, and pinch). The TouchOnKeys app is available for installation, the mouse works in BIOS, and, of course, typing functions as well. 
 
On Mac: All Mac trackpad gestures with TouchOnKeys driver for Mac installed (except two-finger rotation) 

On Linux: Ubuntu+Gnome with Wayland or X.org (with gesture improvement extension): Typing, left-right clicks, scrolling, and native 3-4 finger gestures. Zooming is not supported. 

Note: Other Linux variations/combinations should support basic touchpad functionality without 3-4 finger gestures. 

All other operating systems support typing and mouse gestures, which means gestures are sent to the system as mouse HID signals. Among the limitations, scrolling that works like a mouse scroll (i.e., line by line), three and four-finger gestures don’t work, and pinch gestures send the CTRL+/CTRL- shortcuts. However, you can still control a pointer, scroll, and click left and right. Watch the video to see how CLVX 1 works with other operating systems. 

Since CLVX 1 is an input device, it works in any application the same way as your mouse or touchpad does. 

No, there are no plans to release a black version of the CLVX 1 for Mac/white version for Windows at the moment, and no, it isn’t possible to exchange one for another. 

The current version of our product will be available only in the ANSI US layout. However, we do have plans to release additional keyboard layouts in other languages in the future, though we cannot provide a specific timeline at the moment. 

In the meantime, if you need specific symbols, you can change your keyboard language profile in your OS settings to match your preferred layout. Then, if needed, you can have the keycaps professionally engraved by a service provider with the correct symbols. We’ve successfully done this many times ourselves, but please note that this would be your responsibility. 

Please do not attempt to remove the keycaps or rearrange them.

The keycaps are an integral part of the TouchOnKeys technology and are not designed to be easily removed or replaced like those on traditional mechanical keyboards. Removing them can cause permanent damage to the device and void your warranty. 

One of the key features of TouchOnKeys® technology is automatic type-to-touch mode switching. So, when you type, the touchpad is blocked; when you make a gesture, it switches to the touchpad. 

To achieve this, the gesture keyboard continuously analyzes the user's typing and gestures to make a decision. 

However, it's literally impossible to use the same decision-making process for every user while providing zero false activations and sharp responses. This is because different people type differently and thus make different gestures during typing.  
 
Adaptive Intelligence fixes this: you can train your CLVX 1 by typing for a certain period. Once this is done, the CLVX 1 chooses the best possible type/touch sensitivity (we call it the AI level) for you. 

How to run it? 

1. Install the TouchOnKeys app 
2. Connect the CLVX 1 via USBB 
3. Press the AI key 

Is it safe? 

Yes, we never collect any sensitive data like touch points, keypresses, etc. Sensitive data is computed only inside the gesture keyboard and never leaves it (to the app or elsewhere) 

A few tips: 

-We suggest starting to train your CLVX 1 after a few days of usage 
-During training, a type-only mode is turned on, and the touch functionality is blocked 
-You can train (type) while working (e.g., emails, text work), then pause and return to training when needed 
-During training, avoid making intentional gestures; focus on typing naturally. Occasional gestures are fine, there's no need to start over 
-Your training progress is displayed as a numeric bar in the app 

Note: the TouchOnKeys app and USB connection are required for AI learning.  
However, you can change the AI level (type/touch sensitivity) manually at any time by pressing and holding the AI key, then selecting the appropriate level with the 1-9 keys. 

Sure, both CLVX 1 and CLVX 1 for Mac can be paired with up to 4 devices: 1 via USB and 3 via Bluetooth. You can easily switch between them using the dedicated channel keys. 

You can check the battery level in the app or press the [Battery] key, and the digital row will display the current level of your battery.
