Both CLVX 1 and CLVX 1 for Mac (once available) support Windows 10 and 11 and MacOS (with TouchOnKeys driver for Mac installed). We also offer limited support for Linux (based on Gnome with Wayland enabled) and Android/iOS/iPadOS.
On Windows: CLVX 1 supports all gestures (one, two, three, and four-finger gestures, taps, and pinch). The TouchOnKeys app is available for installation, the mouse works in BIOS, and, of course, typing functions as well.
On Mac: All Mac trackpad gestures with TouchOnKeys driver for Mac installed (two-finger rotation is coming soon)
Note: for the correct Driver operation, CLVX 1 firmware v5.3.0 or newer and macOS 14 and later are required
On Linux: Ubuntu+Gnome with Wayland or X.org (with gesture improvement extension): Typing, left-right clicks, scrolling, and native 3-4 finger gestures. Zooming is not supported.
Note: Other Linux variations/combinations should support basic touchpad functionality without 3-4 finger gestures.
All other operating systems support typing and mouse gestures, which means gestures are sent to the system as mouse HID signals. Among the limitations, scrolling that works like a mouse scroll (i.e., line by line), three and four-finger gestures don’t work, and pinch gestures send the CTRL+/CTRL- shortcuts. However, you can still control a pointer, scroll, and click left and right. Watch the video to see how CLVX 1 works with other operating systems.
Since CLVX 1 is an input device, it works in any application the same way as your mouse or touchpad does.
