Troubleshooting

Installing the Driver for Mac might require some extra steps:

Go to System Settings > General > Login items & extensions > Driver extensions > switch the TouchOnKeys driver ON and enter your password again. 

We’re aware that some users are experiencing Bluetooth pairing/connection issues. Most often, this seems to be related to specific models of Bluetooth adapters or modules. 

Bluetooth, unfortunately, is a rather finicky technology — it can be affected by many factors such as: 
 
- Nearby wireless interference (Wi-Fi, headphones, other BT devices) 
- Poor antenna placement — especially if your PC uses an external BT antenna 
- Bluetooth drivers inconsistencies 
- Specific Bluetooth adapter models: differences in how various chipsets handle BT protocols 

We’re actively collecting real-world reports and setups to reproduce and diagnose these issues. It’s a complex process and can take some time, but we’re on it. 

How you can help us identify the problem faster: 

1. Bring your CLVX 1 as close as possible to the PC or laptop while pairing 
2. Try connecting it to another PC/laptop or another device (phone/tablet) 
3. Move your laptop to a different spot and disconnect other nearby wireless/Bluetooth devices 
4. Temporarily unplug any USB hubs/KVMs/docks or other dongles and try again 

Please let us know if any of these actions make a difference. Even small changes in behavior might help us narrow things down. 
 
If the issue persists, feel free to send an email to support@clevetura.com with as much detail as you can, including: 

-Description of the issue 
-What you’ve tried from the list above (and whether it helped) 
-Your OS and version 
-Device model 
-Motherboard model 
-If using an external BT dongle, specify its model 

Please check if the [Type Only] button is pressed, whether the AI learning mode is on, or go to the System Settings and make sure that Touchpad is enabled.

Please make sure the CLVX 1 is connected via USB cable and the USB channel is enabled (shortly press the dedicated [USB] key) 
 
The USB connection is required for the TouchOnKeys app to work. 

On Windows:  go to System Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Touchpad > Cursor speed setting 

On Mac: go to System Settings > Trackpad > Tracking Speed 

Please turn the keyboard off using the power switch and then turn it back on, making sure there are no fingers on the touch area until the starting animation ends.  

The touch sensor recalibrates every time you turn the keyboard off/on. If fingers were placed on the surface during this process, the calibration might have been performed incorrectly. 
 

Here are a few steps that might help: 

1. Update your CLVX 1 to the latest firmware version: 
- Download the latest version of the TouchOnKeys app from clevetura.com. 
- Connect your keyboard via a USB cable, make sure the USB channel is enabled by pressing the corresponding [USB] key shortly, let the app update the firmware. 
- Complete the onboarding for optimized performance.  

2. Complete the Adaptive Intelligence learning: 
- The keyboard learns your typing style over time to optimize touch sensitivity 
- Press the AI key to start learning (or press the "start learning" button in the app) 
- Once trained, it selects the best possible type/touch sensitivity (AI Level) for you. 
- You can adjust the AI level manually anytime: hold the AI key → select a level (1-9). 

Note: a USB connection is required for the TouchOnKeys app to work and for AI learning.  

3. Fine-tune Gesture settings: 
- If accidental swipes are an issue, try disabling or reconfiguring 3- & 4-finger gestures in the System Touchpad/Trackpad settings or the TouchOnKeys app. 
- You can reintroduce gestures gradually as you get more comfortable. 
 
4. Adjust cursor speed: 
- Try modifying the pointer speed in Windows touchpad settings to better match your preference. 

To make right click (two-finger tap) work on Mac (with the Driver installed), go to System Settings > Trackpad > Tap to Click > ON and set the Secondary click setting to “Click or Tap with Two Fingers”
